Nollywood veteran Peter Bunor, a veteran actor popular on the TV screens in the 80s and late 90s has died.
The Delta State-born actor was declared dead later on Friday, May 1, 2015 by his son, Peter Bunor Jnr, who had achieved a measure of prominence as a child actor years ago. According to his son, the actor who suffered a stroke a few years ago, died yesterday, Friday May 1st. His son Peter Bunor Jr. broke the news on Facebook saying his father passed in the early hours of the day.
He wrote, â€œIn the early hours of today, my father, friend, teacher, confidant passed on.â€
The veteran actor, popular for playing the role of a godfather or head of mafia rings in several Nollywood movies sometimes ago granted an interview with Vanguard Newspaper where he claimed his colleagues deserted him.
â€œSince this thing happened there has been no single actor that called me to ask about my condition. It is a shame on their part. Would they say they donâ€™t know that I am sick? I had a stroke and that was the end of it.â€
