Popular Nigerian Chef and co-owner of Eko Street Eat, Chef Imoteda, British Chef, bestselling author and TV personality, Lorraine Pascale and Food Network star and award winning chef Sibahle Mtongana will all be at the 2018 GTBank Food and Drink Fair to treat guests to an exciting Masterclass on how to make the perfect desserts, Art of Plating and how to succeed as an African chef on the global stage.

Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, Chef Imoteda is the chef instructor and host of two TV shows, Urban Kitchen and Heels in the Kitchen. She is also the co-owner of Eli Street Eat, a company that specializes in bringing innovative twists to Nigerian street food.

When she is not making the best of Nigerian street food, training budding chefs or presenting food shows on TV, Chef Imoteda is busy curating the Nigerian Fusion Food Tour. Now in its third year, the tour aims to celebrate the richness of Nigerian cuisine by taking it around the world.

Before she became one of the biggest names in UK food shows, Lorraine was the first Black British fashion model to appear on the cover of American Elle. Being there and done that, she decided to follow her real passion–cookery–and enrolled for Leith’s Diploma of food and wine course.  She later graduated with a first class honours degree in Culinary Arts Management at London’s University of West London.

Lorraine’s mastery of baking has earned her international appeal and accolades. She has been a judge on the UK version of My Kitchen Rules, Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship in the US and in March 2015, co-hosted one of the UK’s biggest TV programmes, The Nation’s Favourite Food. She also runs a successful blog where she shares her recipes for baking as well as tips for those wishing to embark on a journey to a healthy lifestyle.

Best known for the popular Food Network show, Siba’s Table, Sibahle started exploring the world of food during her early years in East London when her Diabetic mom encouraged her to take a healthier and natural approach to cooking. This led her to completing a degree in Food and Consumer Science at Cape Technikon after which she worked for the Drum Magazine, later rising to the position of Food Editor.

In 2017, Sibahle won 3 international awards at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in China and was recognized by US Film and Television Awards for her cooking show Siba’s Table. She is also passionate about ending global hunger and actively participates in global campaigns such as Rise against Hunger for which she is a Global Impact Ambassador.
